Overview

ProCure Silver Alginate Dressing is a sterile, soft contact layer composed of calcium alginate, sodium alginate, and antimicrobial silver particles. Made from natural seaweed fibers, it is highly absorbent and forms a gel-like surface over the wound, maintaining a moist environment that supports optimal healing while preventing the dressing from sticking to the wound bed. The infused silver provides antimicrobial protection, helping restrain bacterial growth within the dressing for up to 24 hours, and has been shown effective against common pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Flexible and conformable, this non-adherent contact layer enhances patient comfort, minimizes pain during dressing changes, and can be used with most absorbent layers or compression systems.
