Overview
ProCure Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings are a type of wound care product designed to promote healing in a moist environment while providing a protective seal around the wound. Hydrocolloid dressings are composed of gel-forming agents, such as gelatin or carboxymethylcellulose, which absorb helps to maintain a moist environment conducive to healing and facilitates autolytic debridement, where the body’s own enzymes break down dead tissue.
The border is made of an adhesive material that sticks to the surrounding skin which helps to protect the wound from external contaminants and friction, reducing the risk of infection and promoting comfort during wear.

Designed to allow the wound to breathe, minimizing skin and tissue maceration while maintaining a moist environment to encourage healing.
Indications:
Hydrocolloid dressings with borders are particularly suitable for low to moderately exuding wounds, such as pressure ulcers, minor burns, and superficial wounds.
